Upswing for drive engineering with the right BI solution

We are delighted to have been commissioned by Harmonic Drive SE from Limburg to implement a BI solution for them. Harmonic Drive SE is a leading manufacturer of precision gears. Their advanced drive solutions are also being used in the aerospace industry, among others. Harmonic Drive products are already in use within the entire Airbus family. The same applies to the Spirit and Opportunity Mars probes.

The company works with SAP and has so far carried out their evaluations manually using Excel exports. With the introduction of a BI solution, the SAP data will be analyzed automatically in the future. Dashboards will then display the most important key figures from the company’s various divisions. We are building the BI environment based on the SAP data and are supporting Harmonic Drive SE primarily by developing suitable applications for sales and production planning as well as monitoring.

Update, Hannover, September 7^th 2021

Together with Harmonic Drive, we will start the migration from QlikView to Qlik Sense in the coming year, so that Harmonic Drive SE will continue to be very well positioned around self-service BI in the future. To this end, we will provide hands-on training regarding the differences between QlikView and Qlik Sense to actively involve all users in the project from the very beginning and to furthermore achieve a high level of user acceptance within the transition process. We are looking forward to continuing our cooperation.
